Junixe, a new development in Burgundy Estate, Milnerton, is Rabie’s fourth launch in the precinct in the last 12 months, with an accumulative capital value of R580m. This includes the recently launched phase two of Rabie’s retirement development, Oasis Life Burgundy Estate. Its first phase was completed in September at a capital value of R120m.
“Junixe is a single level housing development, consisting of 96 free standing homes in a secure, gated complex within Burgundy Estate.” says Miguel Rodrigues, Director at Rabie. “Our last housing development, Brookside, sold out in February 2019, and we’re delighted to be creating more family homes with private gardens to the precinct.”
“The development is bordered by Pinot Blanc Road and Carmine drive and includes large green open space within its gated and walled community. Purchasers can choose between four house types and there are 26 houses in phase one, priced from R1.93m. Estimated completion for phase one is April 2023.”
All the houses in Junixe have garages and either two or three bedrooms. Open plan living flows into outdoor patios and exclusive use gardens, making the most of the great South African climate and entertaining friends and family.
Junixe lies in the heart of Burgundy Estate, bordering on vineyards and the Durbanville wine route. Central, spacious, and secure, Burgundy Estate is where families grow together. Just ten minutes from Century City, in the foothills of the Durbanville Hills, it borders the vineyards of the historic De Grendel wine farm.
“Escape from the noise in this quiet suburbia, where you have access to kilometres of running, walking, or cycling paths. Convenience shopping, restaurants and schools are within walking distance.” says Rodrigues. “Burgundy Estate currently has over 3 200 front doors, largely made up of separate gated complexes, each with its own communal facilities, indigenous landscaping and first-class security. As a result, it has become a very popular destination for all ages – from young professionals to families and retirees.”
Junixe’s security feature includes electric fencing, smart access control and secure visitors access system and CCTV. Every home comes standard with Fibre-to-the-home, solar PV for heating water in the geysers, Bosch appliances (oven, hob, extractor) and granite kitchen counters.
Rodrigues explains that Burgundy Estate offers convenience and balance. “As more people work from home on a permanent basis, we have seen that they need more room, access to gardens, secure parking and ample green common amenities.”
Since getting involved as a joint venture partner with Nedbank six years ago, Rabie has sold over 1 000 homes totalling more than R1,4-billion at Burgundy Estate.
